Immerse yourself in the island´s most beautiful landscapes

If you are an enthusiastic hiker, you have two nice challenges in Mallorca. One of them is the signposted GR 221 Long-distance Trail that takes you through the Serra de Tramuntana, Unesco World Heritage Site. A route of 156 km, divided into different stretches and variants, suitable for all ages, which can be enjoyed all year round thanks to the mild climate. Along the route, you will find mountain huts where you can spend the night and experience star-shaped nights. You will discover old buildings erected without mortar, the so-called piedra en seco technique, the remains of traditional tasks in the mountains and places full of history and tradition, where you will enjoy the best cuisine.

Another important hiking trail is the GR 222, which connects the Serres de Llevant mountains with the Santuario de Lluc. On this way, you will cross a large variety of landscapes: an almost virgin coast, dunes, agricultural areas and beautiful mountain slopes with centuries-old olive trees.
