Discover all the possibilities for active leisure that the Balearic Islands have to offer and enjoy nature all year round.

If you love discovering the soul of places through their natural spaces, you've come to the right place: Majorca, Minorca, Ibiza and Formentera have so much to offer that you'll find it hard to choose just one island, or just one activity.

The islands of adventure enthusiats

Whether it's trekking through a mountain range, climbing or psicobloc, paragliding, horse riding, hiking or cycling along imposing cliffs, kayaking, caving or birdwatching... the possibilities for active tourism on the Balearic Islands are endless and only you set the limits.

The conditions for enjoying your favourite outdoor activity are also ideal all year round. The Balearic Islands have a mild climate, with mild temperatures even in winter and more than 300 days of sunshine a year, making them the perfect setting for outdoor activities outside of the hottest months.

In fact, there are many hikers and mountain bike enthusiasts who set themselves the goal of completing the routes offered by our islands to discover, little by little, the incredible variety and richness of its landscapes, secret spots and hidden coves.

In addition to exploring the small uninhabited islands that surround our archipelago, such as Cabrera National Park, the Balearic Islands have a vast network of well-marked itineraries, such as the Camí de Cavalls (GR 223) on Minorca, the Ruta de la Pedra en Sec (GR 221) and the Ruta de Artà a Lluc (GR 222) on Majorca, the little-known route of Ses Torres den Lluc on Ibiza and the Pla de la Mola, on Formentera.

You can take to the skies and admire our islands from a privileged vantage point while paragliding or during hot air balloon rides, silently observe the elegance of the flamingos as they pass over our islands with birdwatching routes or discover the depths of our islands by exploring the most spectacular land caves.
And from land, we drop into the sea: Majorca is considered a psicobloc paradise. In fact, this climbing sport was born here and every year it attracts hundreds of climbers from all over the world to practice it. However, if you don't feel like falling into the sea, you can always go kayaking, where you can explore the caves that the sea has opened up in the stone walls that separate land from the sea or inaccessible coves from up close.

Any excuse is a good one to escape to the Balearic Islands. And we’re not that far away. Forget about your routine and reconnect with nature on our islands!
