The Formentera Jazz Festival is a young festival. It was launched in 2015 with the aim of gathering the best talents of this musical genre during four days and to give visitors and locals the opportunity to enjoy themselves on Formentera even more.

The island has always attracted painters, sculptors, photographers, musicians, poets, designers and jewelers ... Their unmistakable artistic traces have made the island what it is today. Therefore, it was only a matter of time that small Balearic Island began to vibrate to the rhythm of jazz. The month chosen for this event is June. An excellent moment in the island´s calendar, because the temperatures are not too high, the days are longer and the sunsets more beautiful. What could be better than finishing the day on Formentera to the sounds of jazz while the sun goes down in the sea?

It is an itinerating festival, which visits the squares of the different villages and the various stages of the island and immerses the entire island in color and good vibrations. In his well-defined program, you will find concerts of talents from around the world, as well as dance, percussion and singing workshops ... documentary films and, as a conclusion, a wonderful jam session during which all those dare can test themselves.

You already know that you can only reach Formentera by ship from Ibiza. However, the organization will provide you with a sailing shuttle from Valencia or Sitges to the Formentera Jazz Festival.
