The Vía Verde (Green Trail) Manacor-Artà

A complete tour to enjoy the essence of the Mallorcan east in the open countryside

With its 29 kilometers, the Vía Verde (Green Trail) follows the old railway line from Manacor to Artà. The corridor was afforested and prepared with native trees; it now contains several interpretive centers and rest areas.

Perfect for hiking or cycling; you will discover the character of the Mallorcan east with its precious natural landscapes, the unspoiled island interior and the attractive coastline with the nearby beaches of Cala Millor, Sa Coma and Cala Bona.

The route crosses Sant Llorenç des Cardassar, Son Carrió and Son Servera. In addition to these places you should not miss a visit to the early Christian Basilica of Son Peretó (Manacor) and the Talayotic settlement of Ses Païses (Artà).
