    Can Sureda de Sant Martí

Courtyard Can Pinós

This house belonged to the Sureda de Sant Martí family, the Marquises of Barbarà and the Counts of Solterra.

The main entrance was formerly located on calle de Can Pinós. In the 1920s, the house was divided up. A door with a rounded arch leads through to the entrance, with a coffered ceiling. We reach the patio walking under a low arch, and these low arches are repeated along the other three sides. On the right, the gallery (or first-floor landing) displays a baroque balustrade with the Sureda de Sant Martí coat of arms, which can also be observed in the arch capitals. On the right, there is a right-angle staircase. The gallery can also be seen on the second floor, but this time in wood.
