Cove Sa Font de sa Cala

The beach of fine, white sand is bordered by low rocks. These rocks are covered with dense pine forests. The beach has everything necessary to spend an unforgettable day at the sea with a truly Mediterranean view The shore - 100 meters long and 60 meters wide - has clean and shallow, transparent water, with sandy beaches, Posidonia and rocky cliffs ideal for snorkeling. The name Sa Font de sa Cala comes from a fresh water spring that flows into the sea. This sweet underwater current is due to the fact that the sea water is less salty here than at other points on the coast. 

To reach the beach from Artà (13.2 km) or Capdepera (7.6 km), follow the road signs to Cala Rajada and then to Sa Font de sa Cala. The beach has a small car park. You can also reach the beach by public transport or the small tourist railway which stops at this and other beaches in the area.
