Because the Arenal des Castell or Arenal d'en Castell has everything: a bank with fine sand of more than 600 meters with a wonderful view of the Low cliffs that surround the beach and a sandy bottom, which is further covered in the sea with stones and sea grass. Around you and on the sandy beach, there all kinds of services including a beach watch and restaurants with a rich gastronomic offer. It is a circular bay protected by the cliffs of the Punta Grossa against the winds and the sea currents. The shallow, light-flooded seas allow you to enjoy a beach day with children. It is also a wonderful place to go kayak or paddle surfing, because the beach has an area bounded with buoys. 

In order to reach the Arenal of the Castell road, from the Alaior (13 Km) road, follow the indications. You can leave your car in one of the two car parks. In the summer there is also a bus with a stop on this and other beaches of this beautiful coastal section.
