With the Biodibal web and mobile apps you can consult the Balearics biggest biodiversity database, which currently has nearly 1 million observations on flora, fauna and fungi species.

Both apps have been designed to offer functionalities in the educational, technical-scientific and nature tourism fields. Using the interactive map you can consult the observations recorded in your surrounding and validated by experts from the University of the Balearic Islands. You can also filer by data, so you can find out where and when you will more likely be able to observe the species you are interested in.

What’s more you will be able to add your own observations or comments, as the apps have been developed with a citizen science slant. If you don’t know which species they belong to, the expert assessors will identify them for you and notify you via your user profile.

You will also find information on routes of natural interest both in the Balearic Islands’ natural spaces as well as municipalities that have joined the project with access to basic information of interest to visitors.
