Art gallery Albarrán Bourdais

Albarrán Bourdais, known for ambitious organising in its Madrid gallery and at the architectural initiative Solo Houses, opened a gallery in Mahón in 2024, in a stately home located in front of the Teatro Principal

Albarrán Bourdais is a contemporary gallery that represents over twenty renowned artists such as Christian Boltanski, Jose Dávila, Claudia Comte and Fernando Sánchez Castillo, and organises immersive exhibitions and cultural programs at its headquarters.

The gallery was founded in Madrid in 2018 by Eva Albarrán and Christian Bourdais as a continuation of two decades of working with key figures in the fields of art and architecture through their Paris-based art production agency Eva Albarrán & Co and Solo Houses, a pioneering collection of avant-garde architecture in Matarraña, Teruel. Reflecting the trajectory of its founders, the gallery's program aims to strengthen links between the Spanish, French and Latin American regions.

Albarrán Bourdais has locations in historic buildings in Madrid and Mahón, where in 2024 they opened the gallery in a stately home in front of the Teatro Principal, and in 2025 they inaugurated Solo Sculpture Trail – a sculpture park at Solo Houses, with monumental works and new productions created in dialogue with nature, which establish a must-see destination for art and architecture lovers.
