Beach Es Banyul

The sea has shaped this pretty coastal section with its two beaches. Both beaches are separated by a rock bar, known as the Lloses del Governador.

One of these beaches is It Banyuls, next to the Punta de sa Barraqueta and the Talaia d'Artrutx (62 m) protected, and the other, Son Saura. You will enjoy a secluded and untouched coastline with a long beach of very fine white sand, protected in its rear by a pine forest. The beach has calm, turquoise blue waters, a gentle slope and sandy seas with Posido0nia. Do not forget your diving glasses! It Banyul is a quiet beach, even in summer. You have to bring your own drinking water and something to eat, because the beach has no services.

To get on the road from Ciutadella (11 km) to the beach, you have to follow the road signs and the junctions. You can park your car near the beach and walk the last 150 meters on foot.
