Lots of gastronomic events are held during the year, which can be viewed on the Gastronomía Menorca website, to showcase Minorcan cuisine: typical dishes and recipes, traditional pastries and local produce. These are the main gastronomic events, held mainly in the cooler months when there are fewer tourists: Els Dimecres és dia de Brou, Jornades Gastronòmiques de Peix, Jornades Gastronòmiques de sa Perdiu, Jornades Gastronòmiques Vedella Vermella Menorquina and Menorca en el Plato.
