A route along the Minorcan coast on the sea is the desire of many kayak paddlers and many non-paddlers who want to get to know this amazing coast in detail.

Menorca has definitely become one of the best destinations of the northern Mediterranean for kayak paddlers. There are different routes. The circumnavigation of the island takes no more than eight days, with stages from early morning until late afternoon. On these stages there is plenty of time to explore caves, beaches and the most emblematic and special places of each stage.

The starting point of this wonderful route is the Albufera des Grau, Menorca´s most important Natural Park. It extends over five thousand hectares and is one of the most important points of the Minorcan biosphere reserve. From this point, an exciting journey awaits you with impressive lighthouses on the cliffs, history, local cuisine and a culture that has managed to protect and preserve nature over the years.

But Menorca is much more. Do not miss the opportunity to have fun at the centuries-old folk festivals in the villages. They have their origin in the San Juan feasts celebrated in Ciutadella since the 14th century, where the Mallorcan horse is the main actor. Walk on the Camí de Cavalls, the centuries-old path that is an alternative to discover the island and its overwhelming nature and to visit the island´s unique historical sites, such as the numerous and famous archaeological finds.
