Open up all of your senses on this gastronomic tour of the heart of Minorcan cuisine
Minorcan gastronomic tradition is a treasure that has been passed down from generation to generation and now comes to us through Menorca en el Plato, an event held in June. For ten consecutive days, around twenty bars and restaurants from all over the island offer a special lunchtime menu with the aim of highlighting traditional Minorcan food and local produce.
You'll be able to taste typical dishes such as stuffed courgettes, Minorcan red prawn stew, traditional baked stuffed squid and innovative desserts with traditional touches, such as carquinyol mousse, whipped milk or Ciutadella cake.
