Take advantage of the cooler weather in October and discover rural Menorca through the Camí d'En Kane route. This dry-stone path was built by the British governor Sir Richard Kane in the 18th century with the intention of facilitating communication between the military on the island.
The path, which runs from Mahon to Es Mercadal, is approximately 20 kilometres long and you can choose to travel by car, bicycle, on horseback or on foot. If you choose the latter option, bear in mind that the walk takes about 4 hours. The route is flat, perfectly paved and signposted, so it does not require much experience or effort.
Dare to discover the other side of the island!
