Beach Es Trenc

Here is a beach that has rightly brought Mallorca the fame of a 'paradise on earth'.

A sandy beach of almost 2 km in length and more than 20 meters wide, where you can swim in never seen turquoise blue water. The beach is part of the Es Trenc-Salobrar de Campos protected area, which also includes the salt lagoons in the background thanks to its immense beauty and scenic value. They are used by the migratory birds on their intercontinental trip to Africa and Europe as a resting place.

Es Trenc is a true emblem of the ecological movement in Mallorca. It is the island´s last undeveloped and well-preserved sandy beach. You can bathe here without a bathing suit and enjoy the fine sand and the shallow water. In the background of the beach, you will see a dune system, where lilies and wild thistles grow, and a wetland area that you can visit with a guided tour, where more than 170 bird species have been counted.

To get to the beach from Campos (10.8 Km) or from Colònia de Sant Jordi (5.1 Km) you have to follow the signs. In the parking lot you can park your car against a parking fee. You can easily reach the beach by public transport.
