Ca Na Costa is the most spectacular megalithic gravesite on the Balearic Islands, located between the lake known as Estany Pudent (formerly known as Estany des Flamencs – Flamingo Lake) and the Es Pujols settlement, in the parish of Sant Ferran de ses Roques. It is a gravesite that lies directly on the rock and is almost perfectly circular in shape, where you can make out two main areas: the funeral chamber itself, located in the middle of the entrance corridor, along with three rings that surround the chamber. It dates from the Bronze Age and was most likely used between 2,000 and 1,600 BC.

There are eight people buried here: six men (aged 25 to 55) and two women (aged 20 to 35). A variety of materials like buttons, beads and ceramic shards were also found with the people.

Its discovery in 1974 was a major contribution to the history of Formentera, as until then it was believed that the earliest human presence dated back to the Punic period. Ca Na Costa is located in an extraordinarily lovely site which is part of the Ses Salines Nature Preserve of Ibiza and Formentera.
