Beach Llevant

Here is one of the longest beaches of Formentera, with a length of 1,459 meters, and a wide sandy strip with always crystal clear water.

The beach is located on the pretty Es Trucadors peninsula, a long sand tongue from the south to the north with the Llevant beach on the east side and Ses llletes and Es Cavall d'en Borrás beaches on the west side. Due to its high ecological value, the beach is part of the Ses Salines de Ibiza and Formentera Nature Park; except for a few small beach bars you will not see any buildings nearby. This is a beach in a true, wild state where you can swim nudist. The beach consists of sand, with small rocky sections and crystalline sandy seas with Posidonia sea grass, which you can explore while diving. In summer, the beach is much less visited than that of one of Ses Illetes. That is why you will find more peace and space here. As you move north, you will see that both beaches are very close. You can spread your bathing towel between the two beaches and enjoy both beaches at the same time.

The beaches share the parking lot with Illetes. If you drive with a petrol engine, you have to pay a toll at the beginning of the route leading to the beaches. This toll does not apply if you visit the beach on foot, by bike or by e-car. To get to the beach from Es Pujols (5.4 km) or La Savina (4.1 km), you have to follow the road signs.
