Alcúdia, a pioneering municipality in inclusive tourism
Alcúdia, a corner of the Mediterranean where nature allows us to enjoy a wonderful climate and where ancient cultures have left their mark, actively supports the development of inclusive tourism to increase accessibility and encourage social inclusion.
Alcúdia is a peninsula in the NE of the island of Mallorca, between the bays of Alcúdia and Pollença. It covers an area of 60 km², including more than 30 km of coastline and one of Mallorca’s longest beaches. Due to its strategic location in the Mediterranean, for centuries it was one of the main gateways to Mallorca, with a magnificent natural setting and numerous protected areas.
The Alcúdia landscape is extremely varied. As well as its many coves and beaches, with their crystal-clear waters, it boasts a wide range of options for all visitors. Whether they wish to enjoy the peace and quiet, sports activities, the natural surroundings, the history and culture, or whether they are interested in the gastronomy, the folklore or the handicrafts.
