Get ready for a journey through the most exquisite contemporary art by sisters Alejandra and María Isabel Bordoy Benàssar
The Horrach Moyà Gallery in Majorca was founded right at the turn of the millennium, in the year 2000. It was designed with a clear concept in mind: to offer a selection of contemporary art based on the exchange of ideas, concepts and expression between creators with diverse artistic backgrounds and cultural origins.
It has two exhibition spaces located in the heart of Palma de Mallorca, providing an international artistic programme. The gallery on Calle Catalunya is located in the heart of the city's commercial centre, in an example of contemporary architecture with two floors dedicated to exhibiting its select works of art.
Here you can find works made using different techniques, expressing new artistic languages. Visitors can admire photographic exhibitions, videos, performances, installations, photography, sculptures, paintings and engravings by artists such as Lidia Abdul, Marina Abramovic, Vasco Araújo, David Brooks and Joana Vasconcelos, among many others.
The Horrach Moyà Gallery participates in significant Spanish and international art fairs such as ARCO, Hong Kong International Art Fair, Art Basel, Abu Dhabi Art Fair, Pulse, Art Brussels and LOOP Barcelona.
Opening hours are Monday to Friday, 10.00 am to 1.30 pm and 5.00 pm to 8.00 pm. On Saturdays, it is open from 10.00 am to 1.30 pm.
