The Caves Campanet are located on the southern slope of Puig de Sant Miquel, in the Tramuntana mountain range. They measure approximately 3,200 m2 and the walk is around 4,000 metres long, an average of 50 m under the earth’s surface, creating a cavity measuring around 16,000 m3.

They stand out for the intricacy and exuberance of the calcareous deposits in the guise of stalactites and stalagmites. When they were being refurbished, fossil remains were found of Myotragus balearicus, a caprid endemic to Mallorca and Menorca that became extinct around 4,000 years ago.

Its visit, which lasts around 40 minutes, runs through galleries and rooms with such suggestive names as the Sala Romántica (Romantic Room), the Sala del Lago (Lake Room), Castillo Encantado (Enchanted Castle) and the Sala de la Palmera (Palm Room), among others, some of which have pools of water.
