It still has the original wine press and other utensils used for wine production, which was initially the real object of this kind of establishment. It also still has the 4 large oak barrels that were used for ageing, storing and subsequently selling the product. They now form part of the decoration.

Like practically all of the similar premises in Mallorca, the typical cellers were later converted into restaurants where customers and tourists are served the most typical Mallorcan cuisine: ‘Frito mallorquín’, tongue with capers, suckling pig, snails and fresh fish and seafood are some of the succulent dishes you can enjoy at Celler Es Grop. They also specialise in Galician cuisine.
