The Route of the Wine with Binissalem Designation of Origin

The area of the Binissalem Designation of Origin in the heart of the island contains remains of the era of the Talayots, the Moors and the Romans. The latter imported the culture of wine and made this part of the island a wine growing area. The vines are spread over the villages of Santa Maria del Camí, Binissalem, Consell and Santa Eugenia, protected by the Sierra de Tramuntana Mountains.
