Local fish and seafood are the stars of the Jornades Gastronòmiques de Peix, held in February
Every year, the Minorcan Association of Cafés, Bars and Restaurants organises the Jornades Gastronòmiques de Peix, in which fish and seafood are the main ingredients in the meals served in restaurants.
The gastronomic event offers a special lunch menu based on fish and/or seafood which is different in each of the eight participating restaurants, which gives you the option of taking a gastronomic route through the different towns on the island.
You'll be able to try appealing, traditional dishes such as perol de ratjada, fritura de morella or aubergines with prawns, among many others.
