The Ses Coves Blanques lighthouse is now an exhibition centre run by the Sant Antoni de Portmany local council. After being ceded to the municipality, the town council reopened it to the public in 2010 after a thorough restoration and modernisation into a socio-cultural centre.

This former lighthouse now performs a different function. It was inaugurated in 1897, after the Sant Antoni council asked the State to build it as there had been several shipwrecks in the area. It operated until 1963, when it ceased to serve as a maritime signal, although it continued to be a home for the lighthouse keepers who manned other towers in the area.

In 2006, the Port Authority of the Balearic Islands ceded it to the Sant Antoni local council which, after restoring it, brought it back to life as a Sea Visitor Centre, a socio-cultural space and an exhibition hall.
